Verbier Festival - UNLTD 2023
IN TOTO MUSIC RUN A SERIES OF FIVE WORKSHOPS OVER A WEEK AT THE 2023 VERBIER MUSIC FESTIVAL. WE EXPLORED FIVE OPERAS WITH YOUNG PEOPLE AGED 5-12, THESE WERE; MARRIAGE OF FIGARO, CARMEN, MAGIC FLUTE, HANSEL AND GRETEL AND ALICE IN WONDERLAND. THE SERIES INVOLVED LEARNING, EXPLORING, CREATING AND SHARING MUSIC, CHARACTERS AND OPERATIC COMPONENTS THROUGH FUN GAMES, DRAMA EXERCISES, COMPOSING AND LYRIC WRITING. THE WORKSHOPS TOOK PLACE IN ENGLISH AS WELL AS FRENCH.

About the Collective
In Toto Music Collective was founded by friends Ben Knight and Emma Jüngling, both alumni of the Royal Academy of Music in London. The Collective was completed with pianist Elli Welsh (National Opera Studio alumni).
We are a team of young professional performers who bring interactive classical music projects to communities. We want to go beyond the boundaries and challenge the clichés that often surround classical music. We also believe that music is an important tool to develop communication skills, encourage creativity and broaden the imagination.
That is why we have created high-quality shows and workshops that we bring directly to schools, festivals and other events, for all ages.
Previous and Upcoming In Toto Music outreach engagements include; Verbier Festival, Classical Vauxhall, Mayfair Summer in the Square. Combined educational experience also include; Royal Opera House, English National Opera, English Touring Opera, Royal Academy of Music, Wigmore Hall and Glyndebourne Opera Festival.
We aim to inspire the next generation of classical music lovers to connect with one another and create. Our mission is to give more people access to the benefits of music-making.
